A year and a half out of school I was put in charge of design (including the interiors), and documentation of a ground up 11 screen multiplex theater with roof top parking,  ancillary retail and office spaces. Even though only 22 years of age at the time, I also did the construction administration on this project.

This theater's design was inspired by both older art nouveau theaters and the warehouse bulkheads along the Delaware River water front where this project is located. The theater though underwent an expansion in 1998, and the theater entry was demolished and replaced with a very different design

I  did a number of other ground up and theater renovations for United Artists with direct involvement with the client through all phases of the design/build process.
