New Medical City Planning and Design

Programming, master planning, medical planning, and design for a 265-bed hospital as part of an overall development for a new town including a future rehabilitation hospital and a 600-bed general hospital.  The first phase is approximately 72,000 sm above grade and is targeting medical tourism with four specialty miniature hospitals: Ophthalmology, Stem Cell Treatment, Plastic Surgery, and a Women’s and Children’s Center.  Yinchuan is an Islamic community requiring a culturally sensitive design the will appeal to patients from the Middle East.  This hospital is to being developed as an exceptionally high level international style healthcare facility.  Having won this project, it will proceed with an extremely accelerated schedule with construction commencing in a very few months.
