O’Hare Lakes is mixed use development locate near the O’Hare International Airport, Chicago. The project provides housing, hotel, conference, retail, office, and residential centers within a few miles of the airport while being only thirty minutes from down town Chicago. The centers are designed to appeal to both Chinese and American investors. The overall design adheres to basic Feng Sui principles while following US development standards. Each center is of a scale to create a dense interconnected urban fabric surrounding a large lake: Retail 342,000 sf, Hotel (2), 433,000 sf, Office (4 towers), and residential (5 towers).
The residential towers are arrayed along the south side of the lake adjacent to a large public park. The office towers are arrayed along the north side of the lake providing exposure and public presence along the Thruway. At the east end of the site is the retail and conference complex. Public spaces interconnect the various centers and parking is provided below each.
