The Tongzhao Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital is a 600-bed addition to an existing 400-bed hospital. The design concept utilizes a courtyard configuration of traditional northern Chinese residences.  The campus is surrounded by a traditional courtyard wall while the buildings are sheathed with contemporary materials.

Programming, master planning, conceptual, and schematic design for a 1500-bed, 200,000 sm hospital specializing in care for women and children. The hospital moves certain diagnostic and treatment services into the Outpatient Clinics creating a more seamless patient care experience. This project is a design competition on a site of approximately 34 hectares.
