Beijing Women’s Cancer Hospital is a 265-bed facility located in a new science and technology park on the northeast side of Beijing.  While primarily focused on the treatment of women’s cancers, this hospital will also provide significant resources for medical research.  The design of the facility combines best practices from both Chinese and Western healthcare including the full complement of radiation, surgical, oncological, traditional Chinese medicine treatments.  Although the site is compact, the landscape will be fully integrated into the design of the facility providing healing gardens at multiple levels and areas of respite throughout.
