The Ministry of Technical and Professional Education is strengthening technical training within Lebanon to adapt to the changing face of the
employment market. In this context, a series of schools and institutes are being planned or constructed across the country.
The school in Edde is intended to form 620 students per year in a variety of fields including architectural drafting, electrical and electronic
skills, commercial sciences, car and truck mechanics. In addition to 2,500 m2 of workshops, the school incorporates 2,800 m2 of classes and
laboratories, a 300-seat amphitheater, a 950 m2 library and computerized archive, a 650 m2 administration block. The school also provides
basketball courts, open fields and an 800 m2 gymnasium.
