The site of the old Ajyad Hospital is planned to make way for a modern multifunctional center, joining an up-to-date medical facility with a
luxurious residential tower and a two-story commercial center.
While the location of the site on the immediate outer perimeter of the Holy Mosque in Makkah is perfectly suited for all three components of
the project, a secluded and private entrance to the residential tower was still a necessity in order to ensure some privacy to the tenants of the
luxury apartments. The view over the entire esplanade and the main entrance of the Mosque will certainly become some of the most exclusive
available in Makkah.
The work carried out in relation to this complex started with a program analysis, analysis of all land constraints and development regulations,
and resulted in a detailed conceptual design of the complex. The 306 residential units range in size from studios of 50 m2 to duplexes of 400 m2
total area, while the hospital’s various departments, wards for 200 beds and technical floors are spread over 21 floors.
Total Land surface area: 5,220 m2
