Saraya Aqaba Resort

The Saraya Aqaba Resort aims to become a focal point for touristic activity at the northern edge of the Red Sea in Aqaba, centered around
seven luxury hotels each with its own distinct identity. The originally narrow beach frontage of the site has been extended inland through the
inclusion of a man-made lagoon, on the banks of which the main facilities will be located. The lagoon is protected by a man-made breakwater,
and a lighthouse at the end of the pier signals the development from the sea and the shore.
At the centre of the site, a traditional Arab town centre has been recreated, lending a unique theme to the development of the Saraya project.
An extensive residential component is also foreseen for the project, ranging from luxury villas to townhouses to smaller units above the
old souk. A gated community has been retained, allowing a controlled character to be maintained, in line with the prestigious nature of the
development.
