Bill Massie, our department's Artist-in-Residence (AIR) is lecturing on his body of works this Saturday. Being extremely guarded about his web-presence, this one has been the one we are looking forward to (on his AIR presentation last month, unlike the others, he showed—tortured?—the audience with his seemingly never-ending collection of Marshall McLuhan's interview collection & only a glimpse of his work.)
In case the poster I volunteered to design above is illegible, here's the juice:
What: William Massie, Lecture
When: Saturday, October 22nd, 2011. 12 PM
Where: Cranbrook Institute of Science (CIS)
Admission: $5 for anyone without Cranbrook ID
No one of us could tell how long it's going to take, but one thing for sure: there will be an intermission.
So see some of you here this weekend? I dare you.
10/21 update: another version of the poster, made for the post-lecture party we're planning to have is below.
A school blog on Arch Dept, Cranbrook Academy of Art. By farid rakun, admitted Fall 2011.

Sadly I can't make it. But I DO have a Cranbrook ID - from 1993, does that count? ;-) Enjoy the show.
