The American Planning Association has awarded the Wellmont Arts Plaza project in Montclair NJ, designed by MHS Architects, a 2021 “Great Places in New Jersey” award for excellence in planning and design. According to the jury “the Wellmont Arts Plaza represents the gold standard of exemplary character, quality, and planning. This place has a true sense of place, cultural and historical interest, community involvement, and a vision for tomorrow”.
