This project is an exploration on structure. Structure, is beyond a physical support for a construction. Significance of this project is to undergo a structural evolution. Proposing a site responsive urban landscape, this project has abandoned traditional method. From smooth landscape to contour levels and eventually to a folding structure, this project has illustrated that designing with structure is not to mimic physical form, but to extract the fundamental structural principles, by which it allows the site to inform structure to response to and opens up opportunities for design strategies.
