This studio has been interested in reclaiming considerations on human senses in the process of design, and to seek for expression and control of such abstract design parameters. Our group have been approaching the design though an environmental approach to reimagine Hong Kong Public Housing Lai Tak Tsuen. To the studio, environmental approach toward architecture goes beyond simple manipulation of physical condition within, but also has provided designers quantitative and visual tools to systematically and strategically design space with other senses.
