New York, NY
The former iconic Brasserie Les Halles at 411 Park Avenue South underwent an extensive renovation to house the new La Brasserie. It occupies the ground level and cellar of a 100-year-old, three-story framed masonry clad building. The 5,000 SF space was transformed by providing a modern interpretation of the traditional brasserie, while maintaining many of the original details. Space was allocated for functionality. The street level was revised to accommodate seating and food preparation area requirements. The dining room rear was expanded by 500 to provide seating for 173 guests, and a bread and bakery display station. A revised kitchen layout accommodates new equipment, and three new guest restrooms were added.
