For the I.V. plant pot, be sure to take a gander at the amusing, almost gothic/porn nurse photo over at Pruned.
That reptile image is gross but cool. I once saw a beautiful image of a similar event - an X-ray of the skeleton of a stork that had swalloed a mole. The mole tunneled its way out of the neck of the storck. both animals died. But the X-ray was gorgeous. I've google imaged it and never been able to find it, alas.
