The Chron looks at Piano's design for the new San Francisco Academy of Sciences building, which will undoubtedly be "the greenest building in the nation," and perhaps the most visited green building in the world. One of its main features will be a 2.5 acre undulating roof, that will definitely mark a stark contrast to its neighbor, the new De Young Museum, in terms of approach to civic architecture for parks.
