...No punch line, yet. Is this about David Childs and the (possibly) ironically-titled tower, if Mr. Thomas Shine wins? Yes it is. Yale Daily | Previously: Thomas sues, Childs rebutts
It's very obvious that Child's copied Shine's design or was strongly inspired by his idea. Still, I don't think he was very deliberate about it, he just remembered this student project which he was once asked to judge and obviously liked the idea so much so that it stuck in his mind..!
What garbage is all that ? That guy in LA should be happy that somebody aparently decided to copy his garbage? I really can't believe someone copied that thing and I really can't believe a court paid this fellow money ...something sounds "fishy" ...as for the twisted tower, only "twisted" minds copy "twisted towers"... Such designers and such prosposals, whether dead-old Hollywood palaces or screw-driver towers , do no good for architecture.

As expected, Childs asks for dismissal of tower suit.
Didn't Make (ken shuttleworth) also do (design & publish) a "twisty" tower ?
these images are so nice and educative I wish they could be more clear
