i have design 2 projects with slurry wall , one built in 83 the other 4 years ago. even in 83, we knew going into that slurry walls would leak -- i find that there has to be much more to this story than on the face value. both projects do leak, a little as there are 4 levels below grade. they are dogs to look at and if you want it pretty its not the system for you.
even bentonite will leak if sitting in a bath of water.
