The NYTimes goes down the 'punch' list of FOG (Frank Gehry) projects with after-birth defects, putting a little salt on the freshly opened wound that is Disney Concert Hall's glare problems. The firm promises the problem will be fixed for under $200,000 if the county approves the expenditure. Read | previously

This glare thing isn't a new issue. When I lived in Minneapolis a lot of us that commuted had the same problem with the Weisman on the University of Minnesota campus. Driving across the bridge and ....Yow! Blinded by the light.
I don't quite understand this issue anyway... They say that the research did not find any evidence of the higher temperatures that were claimed. So then the issue is the blinding glare? You would have to stare at the building directly all day to do any damage to your vision. It hasn't caused any traffic accidents, not that perhaps in couldn't some day, but everyone in LA has their shades on anyway.
