I still don't understand why there should be a park there in the first place. The idea of healing a division caused by a highway with a division as a park is absurd. Yes, a park can be utilized as public space in a way that a highway cannot, but the Harbor, which is nearly forgotten in Boston, is a block away to the east and the Common is a few blocks away to the west. Rather than ad to Boston's already plentiful open space, perhaps reconnecting the North End with downtown via actual buildings, structures and neighborhoods, and a few parks would be more prudent.
