prototype robot rufus jr. from speaker to crack smoking group- "you're trespassing.... leave the property right now.... i already called the police.... you are videotaped..."
homeless vagrant look alike screaming while getting pressure hosed- "aeuuuuuayaarrgh!!!"
mayoral candidate rufus- hehehehe...
If I ever see him hang around my house in that Hawaiian shirt, I'll call the fashion police robot on him.
What kind of message would this send?
"Atlanta...where even the cops, with bulletproof vests and guns, are afraid to be on the street doing their jobs."
Also, doesn't it get pretty hot in Atlanta? Getting soaked with that hose sounds pretty good on a hot day. I'd smoke crack in public if it meant I got to play in a sprinkler for free. :P
* I don't mean to say that the ATL cops are actually afraid to do their jobs - I just mean that's what a lot of people will probably infer, and these bots might well make the city feel less safe rather than more safe.
WTF???? Is this a joke?
I hope he is running on a larger platform than this.
I would ask the candidate how this obviously sophisticated piece of machinery would distinguish the "good" homeless from the "bad"? Does it have a special crack-sniffing apparatus?
I think it needs some duct tape spray painted black. Within a week of deployment the local youth will have commandeered the bots and used them for transport. What a dehumanizing waste. I can't even believe this Rufus douchebag bothers me enough to comment on his idiocy.
AARGHH!
good, now i know where to go for my bots to get rid of suburban trash.
