"when Daniel Libeskind was in San Francisco to kick off the final countdown to the June 8 opening of his Contemporary Jewish Museum, he had a confession: the restored 1907 power station that serves as the shell for the museum looks better than he expected." - sfgate

Danny likes it!
check out the comments attached to that article. not much about the architecture (though a little arch-as-spectacle-bashing) but an interesting case study on sfgate's attempt to keep a lid on a lot of hate speech. ...not entirely satisfactory...
How many Jewish museums are there now?
I've been through here a couple times now and I have to say that it's the best and Libeskind I've seen. That might not be saying much, but the relationship between the new structure and the existing power station is—gasp!—even sensitive at times. Final judgement will have to be reserved until we see how the spaces receive the art (and performances) that are planned for the museum.
