I'm with you Steven. Some of the worst copy I've ever seen has been on architecture promo/competition material. The fact of the matter is many schools simply frown on (and ghettoize) the academic side of the discipline.
Though I did giggle over my perception of a misuse of the word "plan", here: The architect presented a plan to the client: Both would spend a week writing an uninhibited, extravagant, richly imaginative description of the proposed gallery..
So the architect didn't actually present a plan, right? I stumbled until I realized plan meant idea in this context, or scheme, or project...all of which als, I guess, mean plan.

hear hear! bad writing makes me grate my teeth. so does bad spelling.
the things that can slip out of this office if i'm not paying close enough attention....
forget good style for a moment > at least learn to write correctly. it's not a sign of elitism and it DOES matter!
