The centre, built to inspire young people to pursue careers in architecture, was a victim of racially-motivated vandalism valued at over £100,000 in damages. The building, opened only one week ago, was a memorial to Stephen Lawrence, a recently murdered 18 year-old black man and aspiring architect. BBC

That's just really sad. And disappointing.
any vandalism paint should of been used on this not your home David
why are people surprised, it's in Deptford. I go past this building 5 times a week and it's situated between the Docklands Light Railway and over ground railway tracks, which are always being vandalised by the "yoofs"
you can't drop a fragile piece of architecture there and expect people to become responsible citizens all of a sudden, what dream are we living in?
