The proposals looked far from complete and finicky architects (like me) will find them to be in various ways unpolished or unrefined. But the meeting at the San Francisco City Hall really was not meant to be a show of final proposals. It seems like the developers are trying to rein in the architects from committing too much to things that can't be financed. All the teams wanted to do was communicate "trust us." One team showed up with the deep-pocket bank that's backing their project.
