I'm also a bit let down by his graphics, considering he was a pioneer in computer renderings and kicked some serious butt in the days of rapidographs and zip-o-tone, this current batch ain't so hot. Also, the website seems to be almost out of the box Mac site. C'mon Neil!
Granted the actual design of the addition is great, maybe that's the trade off for actually building something. It's the actual building that matters, not any of the "virtual" stuff.
I think is really cool this minimalistic sketchup, approach to the renders...
after all architecture is made by space by thoughts and sensations not by a rendering engine.
