In March, the New Yorker clearly indicated that Rem Koolhaas had managed to sideswipe Studio 44 out of the job. As of the April 13 unveiling, though, Studio 44 remains the lead architect, at least on paper. Architectural Record tags Rem's OMA/AMO as "consultants"...yet, the kind that show up at the meeting with a fully developed rival scheme. Confused yet? Check out the Hermitage's site (w/ pictures).
