A “fold” defines the main design element - the counter wraps around the kitchen opening, framing an interactive chalkboard wall. The project uses salvaged wood, tiles and doors, and mixes new and vintage furniture. Later on we added a fun custom made display to showcase Lomo cameras and accessories, as well as cool stationery items by local designers. The unit includes salvaged wood shelviing, painted MDF and moveable clear acrylic panels.
