The University at Buffalo School of Architecture and Planning has shared its 2024 Spring Public Lectures lineup as part of our Get Lectured series looking at different events taking place for the upcoming academic term.
Lectures begin on February 14 with the school’s Food Systems Planning and Healthy Communities Lab Director Samina Raja. Her talk will be followed on February 21 with a visit from Kengo Kuma and Associates’ Balázs Bognár. The Dean’s Lecture “The Future Today” from Stoss’ Chris Reed comes next on February 28, followed again by the Bethune Lecture from Professor Jeannette Kuo on March 6.
Events continue into the next month with a lecture from the current Clarkson Chair in Architecture participants Sheila O’Donnell and John Tuomey of O’Donnell+Tuomey on April 10. An opening for an exhibition of Reyner Banham Fellow Kearon Roy Taylor’s work follows that event on April 18, and the terms ends with the Sydney Gross Symposium: Designing and Building a Living Memorial on April 24.
"Select lectures and events offer AIA and AICP learning units for professional continuing education. Details are available on specific event pages."
