Our semesterly Get Lectured rundown continues today with a look at the events and public programs on the campus of UCLA Architecture and Urban Design for the Spring academic term.
The events kicked off yesterday, January 10, with a special presentation from SO – IL’s co-founder Florian Idenburg. His in-depth talk about the firm’s work will be followed by another from MArch Class of 1981 graduate and Koning Eizenberg Architecture Founding Principal Julie Eizenberg on Monday, January 29.
The next month begins with Oana Stănescu's lecture on February 8, followed by Jeannette Kuo on February 21. Alums and BairBalliet Studio co-founders Kelly Bair and Kristy Balliet present their work next on February 29. Events continue into March with local favorite Michael Maltzan's appearance on March 4.
Dana Cuff will present the 135th UCLA Faculty Research Lecture on Thursday, March 7, in Schoenberg Hall, followed by the Ideas After IDEAS alumni conversation on April 19. Tatiana Bilbao presents the annual UCLA cityLAB Lecture next on Monday, April 22, followed by Weiss/Manfredi co-founder Marion Weiss on Monday, May 20.
The term concludes with the annual Rumble 2024 event on June 10 and June 11.
