Our Get Lectured roundup of public programs and events taking place in the Spring academic term continues today with a look at what is in store at the University of Pennsylvania Stuart Weitzman School of Design this semester.
The school’s new Department of Architecture chair Rossana Hu begins the term with a lecture on Wednesday, January 24. She will be followed by the Barcelona-based duo Flores & Prats, who will present their work on January 31. Their visit precedes the launch of SCI-Arc professor Peter Trummer’s The City as a Technical Being: On the Mode of Existence in Architecture on February 7. The next month begins with the Cunningham Lecture from Studio RAP’s Lucas ter Hall on March 13.
March continues with the launch of Annette Fierro’s Architectures of the Technopolis: Archigram and the British High Tech on Wednesday, March 20. The following week will see AMAA Collaborate Architecture co-founders Marcello Galeotto and Alessandra Rampazzo visit campus on March 27. Their appearance precedes the Jeffrey Fine (C’76 MArch’78) and Andrea Katz Lecture from Preston Scott Cohen on April 3. Harvard GSD professor Mark Lee ends the term with the Ewing Cole Lecture on April 10.
