A glimmer of Arabian gold catches the eye as a caravan of camels navigates over the curvaceous sand dunes of the Rub’ al Khali desert as heat refracts and dances to shapes unknown. Riding a white-grey camel with a royal purple saddle as though dyed by Phoenician but a day ago, a sheikh in the center of the caravan glances back smiling. The curves of his sun-drenched biceps summon for rest as his body gyrates with the long strides of his halting camel. As he dismounts the perfect outline of his rugged body becomes more evident. He turns and says in a modest tone, “For I am Rashiq, queen of this land.”
**Rashiq, قيشر (Arabic): curvaceous.
