Hangzhou is known for its rich cultural history and traditional teaism ideology.  Translating the key features of the region into architectural design, two schemes for the resort’s hotel towers façade were simultaneously conceptualized.  Various architectural styles, from common village homes to Imperial palaces, were analyzed in depth for the development of resort facilities.  Traditional order and components were reinterpreted into a Chinese-contemporary design, allowing guests to feel as though their modern world has been transported back into the Song Dynasty.

杭州以它丰富的文化历史和传统茶艺而出名。为了能够将这个区域最主要的特点在建筑设计中体现出来，整个度假酒店大楼的外墙同时采用了两种不同的设计方案。通过深度分析各种各样的建筑风格来发展度假酒店的设施，其中包括普通农民的家、皇宫等等。传统的次序和元素被重新诠释并融入到现代中国设计中，让身处现代的客人们感觉仿佛置身于宋朝中。
