Our preview center for the Detroit Red Wings’ new arena is part of The District Detroit, a major development in the heart of the city. The center’s goal is to help drive investment in the city by bringing office, retail, and residential development to life. The design features state of the art interactive models of the development, an “ice oval” in which visitors can virtually experience the new arena, and a feature installation of reclaimed wood etched with the names of past and present Red Wings players.
We sourced locally made furniture and artwork for the center, as part of a comprehensive "Michigan Made, Detroit Built" initiative. The project was completed in collaboration with Olympia Development's team.
