The proposed project was to explore the phenomenology of found / unbuilt landscape and man made / built landscapes and how they interrelate to create a sustainable architecture.
Based upon the skeletal structure of a fish, the lodge is divided in half by the served and service spaces. The walkway located directly between the two zones focuses visitors’ direction and frames a view of the ocean. Once reaching the end of the walkway the view explodes revealing the surrounding landscape.
