Homophobia still exist
Chain gyms have been seeing declining earnings for several years, possibly the cross fit trend taking a lot of business in their gritty garage hyper masculine ambiance, and there are more indy yoga studios than ever.
The way gyms compete is in upping the amenities, extending the hours or cutting the cost, fancy lockers may be as expensive as upgrading equipment.
