Remember when presidents would have cultrual events at the white house? No matter what side of the isle they were on it seemed that just for an instant we would put politics aside and just enjoy some art. For as long as I can remember I have enjoyed watching these events republican and democrat and I think part of it is just seeing the president as a person enjoying the same thing as me and in a weird way making a human connection and not as usual visual of seeing him as just a talking puppet in a suit. Our politics may be very different but some how there is a sense that we are in this together and for the most part to do what is best for the country.
TheWhite House Correspondents' Association dinners would illustrate this even more with the ability of the president to laugh at himself and others. But like I said it is only for an instant and then the pixie dust is blown away by a sirocco of partisonship and media manipulation of the masses. These are sad times my friends.
Don't get me wrong I know all presidents work for the oligarchs not us and Obama bombed women and children in Samolia and continued the military industrial complex but at least he showed some semblance of class.
FYI I couldn't find any republican white house performances : /
wonder if there a playlist for each president out there. I vaguely remember Obama doing that. Bill Clinton I suspect would have a good mix too (saxophone player)...
I haven't posted any song about Nickleback, I am not against them but they never catched my attention. I only have two or three songs at my PC and they are part of 3 different soundtracks I own. That's it.

Phoenix, you have the entire internet at your disposal to listen to some decent music, besides YT, there are tons of free radio stations, the British NTSradio is awesome, Berlin’s FluxFM as well, and Radiooooo.com is also worth to explore...you can do it, the power of the 12 Stones command you!

1 to 3 is too many when discussing nickleback collections... but at least it's (marginally) better than 12 stones or most of that other moody emo pop'dark jive you've posted.

Non, all the Neil Young or Pearl Jam in the world will not wash away the fact you posted Nickleback, this is how you remind me ;-)
just a lot of stoner metal, even though I don't smoke pot, I even talk down about pot smoking, to which I often get the response - usually at parties - how can you hate pot, especially when you look like Joe Rogan, and I always respond - fuckin' socialist drug.
Music is a matter of interests and tastes. Personally, I like all genres, I can listen to the Beatles for a couple of hours, some rap from Travis Scott or Swae Lee, I also love Joji. While working, I prefer to listen to low-Fi, it is quite pleasant and easy to perceive.
What music are you listening to?
