Not music, but there are some memorable songs here ("What's the use of a revolution without general—"). Marat/Sade, by Peter Weiss, has reappeared, the Peter Brook, Royal Shakespeare production. This was a major event, decades ago. It appeared for free on Prime (I know, I know) but now you have to subscribe to something. It is also on YouTube:
I'm looking for serious creative efforts that shake things up, and this fits the bill. The full title is The Persecution and Assassination of Jean-Paul Marat as Performed by the Inmates of the Asylum of Charenton Under the Direction of the Marquis de Sade, which says it all. This is a modern play, a microscope on history, on modern society.
