The owner of this marquee historic property overlooking the Hudson River approached us to convert the three-story brick building into five bright commercial spaces, a one-bedroom apartment, and a penthouse suite for herself to overlook the river. Through preservation of the historic facade, and removal of decades of lackluster improvements at the rear of the building, this urban infill project, currently under construction, brings natural light into virtually every portion of the three floors and provides access to a series of rear terraces that greatly enhance the formerly dark and crowded interior of the block.
