This project consisted of the renovation of the twelfth and fourteenth floor of the City Place Tower Building in Hartford, CT. The relocation of the Merrill Lynch Parent Office in this building required the preservation of some existing wood finishes, while completely redesigning the interior layout to provide new office spaces, administrative and support spaces including: Conference Rooms, Trading Room, Training Room, Mail/Supply Room and Lunch Room. The use of detailed lighting, security devices, and back-up systems for electrical and ventilation, required a strict coordination of the overall team. The use of customized wood detailing throughout the office provided a rich textural backdrop.
