SKEL: A minimal yet sculptural concept combining wood, steel and nylon. Each element is sized to its minimal limit. Legs can either be formed with thin sheets of steamed plywood or simply carved out of solid stock by a craftsman. Steel rods are used to mechanically keep the two wooden legs in place. Nylon rope is used to make two soft nest like seats. Bending is expected to occur due to a lack of a cross member connecting the top corners of wooden legs - which is an intended effect that will serve as constant reminder of the elements in stress.
