Historical darsena space for both industrial and residential development, thus becoming a new civic center in Savona, in terms of attracting leisure activities and tourism. The first design strategy was to separate the industrial from the civil; the second, to carefully restore the most prominent elements of the existing harbour. The docks are restored to their original use as a sea port with promenade and leisure area. From the fortress to the darsena the project sets out to re-establish a new centrality. The marine terminal, the Residential tower, the hotel and the Crescent have been completed. The tower establishes its own dialogue with the cruise ships entering the port. The object is fragmented into sub-objects with their own façade treatment.
