I.N.E.F.C.: Institut Nacional d’Educació Física de Catalunya. A university building designed as a training centre for physical education. It is part of the Barcelona 1992 Olympic ring. The plan of the building is rectangular, with two square courtyards for training courts, enveloped by colonnades that form a campus atmosphere. The space separating the two courts is the main meeting place and venue for social activities. The floor beneath this central space houses the auditorium, a bar and a restaurant. The changing rooms and lecture rooms take up two levels on the north and south wings.
