Culminating the end of the axis from Les Echelles through Antigone is The Crescent Port Juvenal, the climax where the district meets the river Lez. Le Port has a maritime vocation embracing the river and providing a cascading esplanade with platforms, stairs and terraces down to the water level. The colonnade contains one hundred dwellings. The park slopes gently down the riverbank, lined with promenades and restaurants.
