On a vacant lot in the wooded outskirts of Riga, Latvia, the challenge was to create a house for a local family of 5.
After breaking down the program into parts, the cubistic puzzle was to focus on space and views of the surrounding woods and lake. Voids, large balconies and many windows, including skylights bring light and the vistas into their daily life.
A home office, game room/theatre as well as ensuites were part of the brief and were included into this proposal.
