Lagrange 12

Located in Via Lagrange in Turin, Italy, Lagrange 12 is a residential development by Pininfarina — a dialogue between the historical, neoclassical lines of the exterior and the contemporary design of the interior.

Designed in collaboration with The Building Company’s conversion of the historical palazzo located on the corner of Via Lagrange and Via Giolitti, Lagrange 12 is the first Pininfarina-designed residential project in Italy (and the first in Turin, where Pininfarina’s company headquarters are located). Blending historical architecture and contemporary interior design, Lagrange 12 reflects Pininfarina’s key design ethos of incorporating comfort, elegance and beauty.

Located at the heart of the city’s shopping and pedestrian center, this project captures the timeless style for which Turin is renowned. An original neoclassical structure from the 17th century, this building has been previously renovated in the second half of the 20th century, including the addition of a flat roof that offers a panoramic view of Turin’s landscape, from the hills to the Alps and over the city’s famous attractions. The elegant interiors, while staying true to the integrity of this historical building, are contextual and modern. Contemporary artworks commissioned by Richi Ferrero can be enjoyed in the courtyard, which is open to the public.

The project included the total renovation of six floors above ground, plus two basement levels, transforming the building to include luxury residences that compliment the adjacent commercial stores.
