Assistant Professor in Architecture: "The successful candidate will teach design studios at the graduate and undergraduate levels; required lecture and seminar courses, that include sustainability principles in architecture; and architecture electives. The candidate will aid in the development and teaching of emergent computational tools and processes that harness data and/or AI for use in design, representation, and sustainability practices."

Assistant Professor in Landscape Architecture: "The successful candidate will teach design studios at the undergraduate and graduate level throughout the curricula, which may focus on design foundations, ecological design, urban design, community-based design, design/build, and other topics; required courses such as site engineering, computer technology, design research methods or planting design; and will support graduate level design research in areas of landscape architecture and ecological restoration."

University of Virginia seeks an Assistant Professor in Architecture (Tenure Track) in Charlottesville, VA

University of Toronto seeks an Assistant Professor, Architectural Design in Toronto, ON
"Candidates must have earned a Master’s degree in Architecture or a related area, with a demonstrated record of excellence in research and/or creative professional activity, as well as in teaching. We seek candidates whose research or creative practice and teaching interests complement and enhance our existing strengths."

Institute of Architecture at the University of Applied Arts Vienna seeks a University Professor of Architectural Design 1 and a University Professor (m/f/d) of Architectural Design 2 in Vienna, Austria

University Professor of Architectural Design 1: "The studio is characterized by an urban scale approach, examining the complexity of contemporary situations through multi-scalar architectural responses. The relationships between social, technological, climatic, economic challenges, and the built environment are the multiple perspectives through which the studio is seeking a renewed way to address urban conditions, to imagine novel and equitable futures for the many places in which we live together."

Academic Leadership Positions

University of Detroit Mercy's Detroit Collaborative Design Center seeks a Project Director in Detroit, MI: 
"DCDC is seeking an individual to direct and manage the overall initiative for the 4-year grant period. The Project Director for the Department of Energy (DOE) UDM Sustaining Service Organizations initiative will be responsible for the day-to-day direction and management of all DOE related grant activities and DCDC general office administration."

Fellowships

University of Toronto seeks applicants for its Emerging Architect Fellowship Award in Toronto, ON
"The John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design, at the University of Toronto, invites applications for a two-year Emerging Architect Fellowship Award in areas of architectural research and design, with particular focus on topics that address issues of climate and the built environment. This Fellowship Award will be a non-tenure appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor."
