With the Spring lecture series well underway, architecture schools proceed with an exciting lineup of presentations and public events for the season. The University of Texas at Austin (UT Austin) has reached the halfway mark for its Spring lecture series.
Starting in January the school welcomed visits from Jing Liu of SO-IL and Miroslava Brooks of FORMA. For February strong lineup lectures were delivered from Maxi Spina and Jia Yi Gu of Spinagu, Susan Jones of atelierjones, Anne Holtrop of Studio Anne Holtrop, Võ Trọng Nghĩa of Võ Trọng Nghĩa Architects, and Kutan Ayata and Michael Young of Young & Ayata. The school also welcomed Rice University's School of Architecture Dean, Igor Marjanović.
For the month of March, the school welcomed Alan Organschi of Gray Organschi Architecture on March 2. Lonneke Gordijin of Studio DRIFT will present her lecture on March 30. Concluding their lecture series is a presentation from Fuensanta Nieto of Nieto Sobejano Arquitectos on April 6 and Estudio Macías Peredo's Salvador Macías Corona and Magui Peredo Arenas on April 22.
