EC3 seeks a Junior Designer
Location: Los Angeles, CA

Ideal Candidate: EC3 is currently seeking an entry-level junior designer to join a growing team of 10 architects in the Los Angeles office.  The applicant is expected to work closely with the design team on upcoming mixed-use and cultural projects from Concept Design through Design Development. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: In-house model making using a variety of materials such as cardboard, solid basswood, metal, acrylic, and plexiglass, etc. Assist in-house model shop and general office organization and maintenance. Successful candidates will have a bachelor's or professional degree in architecture1-3 years of experience in a professional setting. Strong design and 3D modeling skillsHave experience in working in a collaborative environment to develop project documentation. Demonstrate effective problem-solving and communication skills. This position requires experience in AutoCAD, ArchiCad,  3D modeling, and Adobe suite as part of the design and documentation process. Experience with 3D printers, Monday Project Management software, renewable energy, and construction experience is a plus. This is not a remote position as we are a creative studio firm.
