The City highlights these leading projects annually in their Building of the Year Award, which was presented to the New Ludgate complex designed by Fletcher Priest Architects and Sauerbruch Hutton.
The “techno-boreal” Wind Forest wins the LAGI Glasgow competition
The Land Art Generator Initiative recently revealed the results of their Glasgow competition. The winning commission went to the “techno-boreal” Wind Forest, a group of blade-less wind turbines that the design team says can generate enough electricity for approximately 300 homes.

A closer look at the student-assembled “InFlux”, from AA Summer DLAB::RED
A flashback to the AA School of Architecture's 2015 Summer DLAB::RED program, wherein students acquired essential techniques in generative design and robotic milling strategies. By the end of the workshop, students produced a 1:1 working prototype installation called “InFlux”.
