Shohei Shigematsu/OMA to design new Albright-Knox Art Gallery expansion in Buffalo
In more OMA-related news, a team led by Shohei Shigematsu was chosen to design the Albright-Knox Art Gallery expansion in Buffalo, New York. The estimated $80 million project is the museum's first expansion in the last 50 years.
BIG's 2016 Serpentine Pavilion and the new Summer Houses make their public debut

2016 Norman Foster Travelling Scholar Abel Feleke to study informal-settlement communities
University of Western Australia student Abel Feleke won the 2016 Norman Foster Travelling Scholarship for his proposal, “Weaving the Urban Fabric: Examining the Significance of Community”. Feleke will travel to six countries to learn about the intricate social networks that have evolved within the informal settlements in each region.
